Professional Biography:

Courtney has researched with the Mars Climate Modeling Center (MCMC) at NASA Ames since 2016 when she started her undergraduate internship under Dr. Melinda Kahre. She is first author on a paper about her undergraduate research, Martian Secular Climate Change, which she intends to submit for publishing in 2018. In addition to writing, Courtney is using the Ames Mars Global Climate Models to study atmospheric circulations within and around Martian craters. In her free time, Courtney loves to play with her one-year-old puppy, Mabel, a Jack Russel Terrier mix rescued from a local shelter. She also plays competitive racquetball with her on-the-court partner and real-life partner, Alex.
