BASALT Research Objectives
Coordinate the research and activities leading up to field tests in analog environments where under simulated mission constraints scientific field work and concepts of operations will be evaluated for their value in joint human and robotic exploration of Mars.
Linda is a mobile planetary robotics field researcher in the Intelligent Robotics Group (IRG) at NASA ARC. She serves as the rover hardware engineer, the logistics field manager, and IRG’s assistant group lead as well as mission coordinator for BASALT.
