We present via the links below some pictures and spectra of nebulae that were the subject of our various observing programs. These include five Planetary Nebulae - NGC 6210, NGC 6818, NGC 7009, NGC 2022, and IC 2165. Hubble Space Telescope (HST) Wide Field and Planetary Camera (WFPC2) images are shown for each along with one of our Infrared Space Observatory (ISO) spectral line measurements.
Our H II region studies focus on the famous Galactic object, the Orion Nebula and, most recently, several extragalactic H II regions that we have observed with the Spitzer Space Telescope (SST). In SST Cycle 1, we observed ~25 sources in the nearly face-on spiral galaxy M83. In Cycle 2, we performed a similar program for the nearby spiral M33. For Cycle 4, we have been awarded SST time for ~25 objects in the local dwarf irregular galaxy NGC 6822.
